Through our dual commitment to foster care and breast cancer support, we walk alongside children, families, and survivors with programs that meet real emotional, educational, and practical needs at every stage of their journey.
We are committed to empowering foster children and the families who care for them. Our programs are designed to provide support before, during, and after placement—because the journey doesn’t end with a home. Many foster children face repeated placement disruptions, age out of the system without support, and remain at risk for trauma, neglect, and instability. We work to ensure that every foster child has the opportunity to grow in a nurturing, stable environment.
We address critical gaps in the foster care system by offering after-school tutoring, athletic development camps, and college application assistance—meeting children where they are and guiding them toward a brighter future. In collaboration with mental health providers and community-based services, we also facilitate access to counseling and preventive resources to support emotional and psychological wellness.
By championing each foster child’s voice and creating systems of stability, we break cycles of trauma and build a legacy of belonging.
The end of treatment is not the end of the journey for breast cancer survivors. At Bolton Empowerment Foundation, we recognize that healing from breast cancer extends far beyond remission. Survivors and their families face long-term challenges such as emotional distress, chronic symptoms, financial strain, and the overwhelming task of returning to daily life.
That’s why we provide hands-on support that meets real, ongoing needs. Our volunteers assist with navigating the complexities of medical billing and insurance claims. We offer free transportation for survivors and their families to attend appointments, pick up prescriptions, and access essential groceries—removing barriers to everyday care.
In every interaction, our goal is to uplift survivors with dignity and compassion. Through trauma-informed programs and community partnerships, we ensure that survivors are not just seen but celebrated. By supporting the emotional and logistical needs of breast cancer survivors and their loved ones, we help them reclaim strength, stability, and connection.
